As a leading non-for-profit charter school operator, IDEA Public Schools is focused on driving the right results for over 70,000 students in Texas, Southern Louisiana, and Florida. But to do that, IDEA first needs to offer tailored and responsive learning for every one of its 11,000 staff members, including the 1,200-1,500 new teachers IDEA welcomes on board each year.

As 360Learning’s Global Head of Content, Tom Baragwanath engages our audience with real stories of collaborative learning. With a background in law, political science, and creative writing, Tom has worked in public policy, management consulting, and most recently, content marketing. As a co-host of the L&D Plus podcast and a founding member of the L&D collective, Tom is always on the lookout for the next great story about learning innovation.
Richel Raich-Cantu was born & raised in rural Utah. After graduating from Westminster College with a B.S. and the University of Utah with a Masters in Educational Leadership & Policy, she joined Teach For America as a middle school Special Education teacher in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. During the summers of her years teaching, she worked on the operations team at Teach For America’s New Teacher Institute where she discovered a passion for supporting adult learning. Richel is now the Director of On-Demand Training at IDEA Public Schools; she supports the learning of over 11,000 adults, in service of sending all of IDEA’s students to & through college. Richel is an avid birder and spends most of her weekends taking pictures of birds with her partner & young daughter to post on their Instagram account @birdingconbea.
