About this event
One of the most visible serial applications in additive manufacturing is Erpro Group’s 3D Factory who have produced more than 17 million 3D printed mascara brushes for Chanel. In 2020, they plan to double or triple the number of serial production lines they run - but without significantly increasing manpower. To hit that goal, they are putting tools in place to optimize their production lines. Most important will be reducing the number of manual steps and moving to a digital, paperless workflow.
Cyrille Vue from Erpro and Marie Thiébault from 3YOURMIND will speak to the specific steps they are taking to streamline these processes together. The result will be a blueprint for the industry to approach managing serial AM applications efficiently.
The presentation speaks through three specific problems that Erpro has been confronted with on the pathway to scale. The solutions are a combination of adjusting internal processes and adding software automation at various stages of the processing chain. This will include steps that are taken to integrate quality assurance evaluation in the production steps and automatic tracking using machine connectivity.
Marie Thiébault is in charge of Business Development for France at 3YOURMIND, a software provider whose solutions for 3D printing ordering and production help companies to optimize their AM workflow.
3YOURMIND is a Berlin-based 3D printing software company, founded by Aleksander Ciszek and Stephan Kuehr.
