À propos de cet événement
While it is estimated that every dollar invested in nutrition generates $23 in total income benefits, policymakers face complex decision-making processes when investing in nutrition. Nutrition outcomes are a multifaceted, spanning multiple sectors and encompassing various pathways that contribute to health and welfare. Addressing malnutrition requires tackling multiple issues (including undernutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases) while also considering a wide range of interconnected factors, such as sanitation, food systems, women’s roles, child care, or health system capacity.
