About this event
Property risk engineering has always been a data-rich field. Every inspection, report, and recommendation contributes valuable metrics aimed at identifying hazards, measuring their potential impact, and mitigating risks across critical locations. This process drives underwriting decisions and property insurance pricing, turning technical site knowledge into financial outcomes.
In this session, Ian will discuss how all steps in risk identification, assessment and quantification are becoming increasingly essential, and will highlight how AI can be transformative in support of these fundamental yet evolving challenges. He will explore how AI can support transformation to dynamic, real-time risk identification, thus enabling an increasingly predictive and informed approach to risk assessment and quantification, where risk stakeholders can make better data-driven risk management decisions.
The session will include deeper dive considerations of the following;
How AI can be used to develop, enhance and assess property insurance submissions
AI's role in managing concerns for risk managers, brokers, and insurers
Potential ways in which AI can support role in remote risk assessments.
In conclusion, Ian will explore the future of loss control as AI becomes increasingly advanced.
