While most companies have a reasonable understanding of their cyber security exposure, recent claims experience indicates that most organisations do not have a clear understanding of what their economic loss exposure may be in the event of a cyber incident. Furthermore, consideration has not necessarily been given as to the extent to which a cyber policy will respond to these loss exposures.
