Can (John) Umut Web3 Associate, Algorand Foundation @ Algorand Foundation

Can is a firm believer that blockchain technologies will replace many underlying infrastructures that we have in place. He first got involved with crypto by working at the first stablecoin of Turkey, BiLira where he had the benefit of working with many local crypto projects in Turkey, along with many financial corporations ranging from commercial banks to regulators, etc. His interest in the blockchain industry kept growing over the years and after some time, became his main focus. After having worked at BiLira, he interned at PwC Strategy& as a consulting intern, and later on joined Algorand Foundation as a Web 3 Ecosystem Associate. His main goal is to increase the number of wallets, transactions, projects, and TVL in the Algorand Ecosystem.
