Michael Ermann is the creator of Amber Book, a leader in online architect registration exam preparation. Michael is a tenured full professor in Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture + Design, where he’s taught design studio, environmental building systems, materials & construction methods, and architectural acoustics since 2001.
Ermann has been widely recognized for his leadership and contributions to architecture by the American Institute of Architects and the Architizer A+Awards, among others, winning 14 awards for his design, teaching, and research. Mr. Ermann earned a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in math from Tulane University.
Paul Keskeys is Publisher and Editor in Chief at Architizer. A registered architect, writer and AI thought leader, Paul graduated from UCL and the University of Edinburgh, gaining an MArch in Architectural Design with distinction. After several years in practice, Paul transitioned to design media in 2015, establishing himself as a key storyteller and advocate for the global architectural profession.
Paul has spoken about the art of architecture and storytelling at many national industry events, including AIANY, NeoCon, KBIS, the Future NOW Symposium, the Young Architect Conference and NYCxDesign. As well as hundreds of editorial publications on Architizer, Paul has also had features published in Architectural Digest, PIN—UP Magazine, Archinect, Aesthetica Magazine and PUBLIC Journal.
