About this event
Material Bank's "Design Your Impact" Series
1 x IDCEC Credits Offered to All Attendees (0.5 for each half-hour session)
This event comprises 2 x 30-minute sessions from 12 noon to 1pm.
Better sustainability means more circularity. We now have much better knowledge about the production and use impacts of the materials we source and spec, but the end-of-life solutions are still very much back in the last century.
This session aims to demystify the current thinking on end-of-life scenarios for the various interior materials. The presenters will look at both the design and construction of the materials themselves as well as the installation methods and use cases that can potentially enable greater second use of these resources. Specific material and product classes will be referenced, with best in class examples shown.
