About this event
ASPI’s Women in Defence and Security Network (WDSN) is delighted to invite you to attend our upcoming career panel – held virtually for the first time!
ASPI proudly supports and promotes furthering the careers of women in the defence and security community. One way we do this is through our Women in Defence and Security Network which provides a forum to support the career development of women in the defence and security community.
Join us for a panel discussion and hear from experts with a wealth of experience working in Australia and internationally in the defence, foreign policy and security fields. Our panelists will discuss their careers and answer your questions, drawing from their own diverse experiences.
Panellists Julie-Ann Guivarra, Ambassador for Gender Equality at DFAT, Major General Cheryl Pearce, Force Commander of the United Nations Forces in Cyprus, Dr Huong Le Thu, ASPI Senior Analyst and Leanne Close, Head of ASPI’s Counter-Terrorism Program will join the discussion moderated by Kelly Smith, ASPI’s Events and Communications Manager.
While WDSN is focused on supporting and promoting women in the defence, foreign policy and security communities, we welcome any individuals interested in participating in this online event.
