The Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) is delighted to host our inaugural Indo-Pacific Leaders Dialogue session to discuss the future of Taiwan, featuring a keynote address from Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen.
President Tsai Ing-wen will deliver the keynote address, which will be followed by a live panel discussion with:
· Peter Jennings, Executive Director, ASPI
· Dr Chen-wei Lin, CEO, Institute for National Defense and Security Research
· Dr Mark Harrison, Senior Lecturer, University of Tasmania
· Dr Samantha Hoffman, Analyst, ASPI
The discussion will reflect the themes of the address as well as examine the President’s answers to five questions posed by ASPI, covering Taiwan’s Covid-19 experience, the One China policy, self defence, independence or reunification, and risks of future conflicts.
