Enhance your clinical confidence in managing common colorectal conditions. This session will help you become more aware of the key factors that should influence referral for surgical management of hernias, ensuring patients are directed appropriately and at the right time. You’ll also explore what can be effectively managed in primary care for anal fissures, including the use of topical diltiazem (following specialist advice). In addition, gain a deeper understanding of colorectal cancer in younger adults, supporting earlier recognition and improved patient outcomes.
