About the presentation
Fiona has tailored a custom presentation that will focus on the unique challenges directors and executives of not-for-profit and for-purpose organisations face.
Fiona brings together the fields of social cognitive neuroscience and complex systems dynamics to tackle large, wicked problems by distilling complex issues into useful, pragmatic ideas, and framing them in a way which entices people to get involved and help shape change.
A major driver is her interest in the value of human interaction and its transformative power, such as the ability of leaders to build flourishing environments and boost complex thinking.
This could be just the brain fuel you need to boost your capacity for innovation and excellence in leading for adaptation.
Fiona is an organisational and neural complexity specialist in the University of Adelaide, and combines this with working in an advisory capacity with Australian and overseas governments and the private sector, which she has done for 20 years. Her business background spans complex organisational strategy, review and transformation across the public, private and tertiary sectors.
Fiona is working with governments in Asia, Australia and Europe on aspects of fostering creativity and innovation, neuroleadership and futurising. She is currently writing an ‘airport’ book on the social neuroscience of collaboration and creativity, and spends a lot of time speaking on this subject to business audiences both here and internationally. A pracademic, Fiona combines her years of practical industry experience with research which results in pragmatic and comprehensible concepts which are effective in practice.
