About this event

Mr. Alex Wee is the orthopedic lead for diabetic foot disease and part of Frimley Park Hospital's multidisciplinary foot protection team.

He has been an orthopedic consultant at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey since 2006. Mr. Wee undertakes complex diabetic foot infection debridement, foot amputation, and Charcot reconstruction surgery. He also undertakes general orthopedic trauma, complex foot and ankle trauma, and all aspects of elective foot and ankle surgery.


Dr. Armin Koller, Head of the Department of Technical Orthopedics at Klinikgruppe Dr. Guth in Hamburg.

Patients from all over Germany are referred to the Technical Orthopedics department, in particular for the surgical treatment of Charcot's foot. He has been treating diabetic foot syndrome for more than 25 years and he has attached more than 1,000 external fixators during this period.

Dr. Koller also leads the Diabetic Foot course of the German Association for Foot and Ankle (DAF). He is a member of the Diabetic Foot Working Group of the Society for Diabetology and the Association of Diabetic Foot Surgeons of which he was the first president.

Dr. Victor Anciano is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated with honors from Harvard Medical School in 2015. Having more than 8 years of diverse experience, especially in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Anciano affiliated with Jewish Hospital & St Mary's Healthcare cooperates with many other doctors and specialists in the medical group University of Louisville Physicians, Inc.

His specialties include Orthopedic Surgery, Foot & Ankle Surgery.
