Changing our behaviour is crucial to hitting net zero: the Committee for Climate Change estimates that 62% of the actions required will involve some element of societal or behavioural change. As the retail sector works towards an ambitious target to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions, consumers are going to need to go on a significant journey. This journey is dependent on the retailers themselves offering low-carbon, reused, repurposed, recycled or circular products to influence sustainable purchasing decisions.
