British Retail Consortium invites you to their event

Climate Action Week: Low Carbon Logistics

About this event

As part of BRC Climate Action Week 25-29 October, we’re hosting a series of events to showcase initiatives and good practice being undertaken by UK retailers on the journey towards Net Zero.

Each day we’ll profile and provide practical advice and guidance on one of the 5 key Pathways of the BRC Climate Action Roadmap – an ambitious industry-led initiative designed to get the whole of the UK Retail industry and its supply chains to Net Zero by 2040.

........................

This event, in conjunction with our Climate Action Roadmap Pathway 3 Partner, DP World, focuses on the shift towards low carbon logistics.

Andrew Opie, BRC Director of Sustainability will update participants on the latest developments and how the BRC is engaging with Government and stakeholders to push this agenda forward.

John Trenchard, UK Commercial and Supply Chain Director at DP World, will discuss how supply chain partners can work towards decarbonising international supply chains, how tech can be leveraged in logistics to reduce emissions, and what retailers should consider in planning their supply chain to reduce environmental impact.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This event is free to join and is open to all BRC retail members, associate members and non-members.

It will be of particular interest and benefit to logistics and supply chain colleagues; as well as colleagues responsible for meeting their organisation's CSR and sustainability goals.
