On the 1st of January 2022, full customs declarations will need to be made at the time of import for all goods. This will mean that retailers will take control of their declarations processes, either by it doing themselves, or getting a customs intermediary to do it for them.
Some retailers however are finding this process difficult, and with the deadline rapidly approaching, retailers urgently need to have their systems in place or establish relationships with third-party service providers.
