British Retail Consortium invites you to their event

Carbon removals accounting: core rules and requirements explained

About this event

The British Retail Consortium have partnered with One Carbon World to deliver a webinar explaining the GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Guidance (LSRG) rules for accounting for carbon removals within their value chain.

BRC members from the food retailing, processing, and production sectors who have signed up to SBTi are now required to set targets for their Forestry, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) emissions. These targets can incorporate carbon permanently removed from the atmosphere across their value chain, following specific requirements set by LSRG.

One Carbon World’s Head of Carbon Removals (Hayley Warrens) will provide guidance on how to navigate these complex rules. At the end of the webinar, there will be a 30 minute Q&A session to enable BRC members to seek more clarity on the guidance or on specific issues.

One Carbon World are a UN Observer Organisation and are leading experts on carbon removals, with experience in delivering inventories (up to the country-level) across the world.
