British Retail Consortium invites you to their event

Nature and biodiversity for retailers: an introduction

About this event

Join us for “Nature and biodiversity for retailers: an introduction”, an introductory webinar that delves into the crucial relationship between retailers and nature.

Nature is in trouble. In the past 50 years, wildlife populations globally have, on average, declined by 69%. This is a deeply concerning trend in its own right, but this is also of material relevance to retailers. Your business – every business – relies on healthy biodiversity and a stable climate for its future.

Join us to find out why nature is important to retailers. We’ll explore the growing business risks and opportunities that arise from impacts and dependences on nature both in your supply chains and direction operations. We’ll discuss the emerging regulatory landscape, and the types of no-regrets-actions you can start to take to integrate nature-positive practices into your business, drawing on learnings from real case studies.

Nature Positive and the RSK Group are delighted to support BRC’s latest campaign, dedicated to making the case for action on nature and biodiversity across the retail sector. This introductory webinar marks the campaign launch with future events exploring the issues in more detail and discussing the enablers and barriers of nature-positive action.
