British Retail Consortium invites you to their event

Peak Trading: Market Trends and Shopper Behaviour Across the Golden Quarter

About this event

Black Friday no longer marks the start of peak trading - it reshapes the whole quarter around it. Discounting begins earlier, spending shifts, and increasingly consumers delay purchases in expectation of lower prices.

This session will examine 2024 and 2025's Golden Quarter performance and what it means for the period ahead, covering:

  • Market performance through the Black Friday to Cyber Monday window
  • How trading held up in the weeks leading up to Christmas
  • Where growth came from across categories and channels

Alongside this, we'll explore consumer behaviours around Black Friday.

This session is aimed at consumer, marketing, insight, and commercial professionals from BRC Retail Members, and will also provide opportunity for Q&A and discussion.
