In this session, we will present how our data set powers decision-making in a myriad of industries including agriculture, forestry, and government. Irene Benito is a Senior Manager for European Affairs at Planet. Prior to joining Planet, Irene managed the Copernicus programme at EIT RawMaterials (a body of the EU) and also worked as a policy analyst at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. Irene has been appointed as an Earth Observation Evangelist at the European Forum for Earth Observation, acting as a spokesperson for the European EO sector. She holds a Masters degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (UK).

    In June 2020, Astrid Cousteau take over the Trade and Development Department of Kinéis, after more than 20 years with Groupe Cahors. Graduate of the HEBO - European Studies School in The Hague, Netherlands, where she was born, and after an initial experience in sales management with the Lot company SAFARAID, Astrid Cousteau joined MAEC (Groupe Cahors) in 1997 to take charge of international sales administration for VISIOSAT, a company specializing in the distribution of television and data via satellite. In 2000, she assumed international sales responsibility for this expanded telecommunications business. In 2015, the new governance structure gave it a new challenge: the implementation of a commercial development strategy in Europe for low and medium voltage activities as well as the smart grid business.
