Lorna has held senior communications positions at Marriott Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Trainline. She was Head of Communications at Thomas Cook Airlines and a key member of the corporate affairs team that managed communications and complex, intense scrutiny when the iconic British travel brand collapsed in September 2019.

Monica Armesto

Senior Marketing Manager, Sydney Airport

Monica Armesto has worked across a variety of marketing, communications and strategy roles with global brands including Tourism Australia, Tourism New Zealand, and Sydney Airport. Her experience includes developing strategies for market expansion across a number of countries in Asia and South America and running projects as diverse as broadcast partnerships in Japan, travel trade marketing strategies for the 2011 Rugby World Cup, and brand strategy development for Australia as a business events destination. She has a focus on effective communications across cultures and delivering projects for long term and sustainable benefit.

Alexandra Geyer

Head of PR & Public Affairs, Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group AG

Based in Vienna, Alexandra specialises in strategic communication as well as sustainability & innovation in the hotel industry. Before Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG), she worked as a spokesperson and consultant in strategic communication in the private sector as well as in the public sector. 2021 Alexandra took over - as corporate spokesperson of the FMTG and Head of PR & Public Affairs - the communication of the group.
