About this event
1 October 2026 will see the implementation of a new regime designed to combat illegal working in the UK. The changes are significant and will affect most businesses. First, businesses will need to conduct right to work checks on wider groups than just employees, including workers and subcontractors. Second, a new concept of extended liability is being introduced where businesses can be liable for illegal working even where there is no direct contractual arrangement in place. Join this webinar to understand how these changes will affect your business and the steps you can take to avoid incurring civil penalties for illegal working.
