Description: In this webinar, Katie Diltz, Associate Director of Echo in the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame, will propose a program of formation for catechists and catechetical leaders. Based on the dimensions of formation named in the Directoryand on her work forming catechetical leaders in the McGrath Institute’s Echo program, Katie will help participants identify key components to incorporate in their respective formation plans in order to help each catechist and catechetical leader to “take shape, which means unveiling his [or her] deepest identity which is that of being a son [or daughter] of God in profound communion with [others]” (Directory for Catechesis, 130).

Katie Diltz is an associate director of Echo. She oversees the area of professional formation for Echo students. Katie worked in parish and school ministry for five years before joining the Echo staff in 2013, and she remains actively involved in parish life including her local parish council.
The Catholic Apostolate Center takes its inspiration from the spirituality of St. Vincent Pallotti and achieves its goal of deepening collaboration with dioceses and other organizations by creating formation programs for the New Evangelization through creating resources.
