Appointed as the National Coordination Centre* for Belgium, the Centre for Cyber security Belgium (CCB) invites you to its first event dedicated to the Belgian Cybersecurity​​ Community**, on 30 August 2022, 10:00-11:30 AM.

During the event, you will hear all about the upcoming European funding opportunities dedicated to cybersecurity, how you can benefit of these and how the European Cybersecurity ​​Competence Centre (ECCC) and the Belgian National Coordination Centre will support you in the process. Of course, it will be possible to interact with the moderators and the guest speakers.

    Katarzyna Prusak-Gorniak Deputy Chairperson of the Governing Board @ European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC)

    Attorney at law, graduate of the Jagiellonian University and the National School of Public Administration, cyberattaché at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU in Brussels, responsible for negotiations of the draft NIS2 Directive, eIDASv2 Regulation and all matters related to cybersecurity, personal data protection, eID, e-government and cloud computing. Former Director of the Legal Department in the Ministry of Digital Affairs. Vice-Chair of the Governing Board of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).

    Miguel de Bruycker Managing Director @ Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB)

    Miguel De Bruycker studied at the Royal Military School and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. After writing a dissertation on Cyber Defence in 2005, he joined the General Intelligence and Security Service and was responsible for the security of classified networks and the creation of the first cybersecurity unit of the Belgian Defence. Since 2008 , he and his cyberteam are involved in the processing of all major cyber incidents in Belgium. On August 17, 2015 , he became Managing Director of the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium.

The Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) is the national authority for cybersecurity in Belgium. The CCB supervises, coordinates and monitors the application of the Belgian cyber security strategy which is "Make Belgian One Of The Least Vulnerable Cyberspaces".
