Anxiety in Children and Youth - Part One: Understanding Key Concepts

About this event

This webinar is part one of a two-part webinar series that takes a close look at the development and experience of disordered anxiety in infants, children and youth. During Part 1 participants will be introduced in detail to 4 key areas that relate to the development and ongoing influence of anxiety in infants, children, and youth. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the difference between helpful vs hindering anxiety while also exploring some key influencing factors for the development and maintenance of childhood anxiety. The concepts of attunement and regulation are introduced as both a key contributor to the development of, and the resolution of, disordered anxiety in children.
