This session will give you an overview of your legal obligations under employment law and:


Discuss the law regarding whether commercial and not-for-profit organizations/ child care centres can temporarily lay-off their staff, reduce pay, and defer salaries

 Provide an overview of all Federal government subsidies and programs available for commercial child care centres and not-for-profits, including the Canada Emergency Response Benefit, the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy, Supplementary Insurance Benefit Plans, and Work Share Agreements

Provide information on best practices around managing cash flow during the COVID-19 pandemic and other business considerations
