Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Part 1

About this event

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is an invisible brain-based disability that arises due to exposure to alcohol prenatally. FASD one of the leading causes of development disabilities in North America, at a conservative estimate prevalence rate of 2-3% in school-aged children. Understanding the structural changes that have occurred in the brain will allow for a better understanding of the cognitive and behavioural difficulties of that individual
