Educators will learn what their part is in the dance of interaction between adults and children and how their predisposed beliefs, biases, assumptions or predetermined outcomes can hinder the expansion and richness that can be gained in the interaction. They will obtain understanding that the interaction needs to be fluid, organic with no attachment to any specific outcome or results. Through the use of the various stages of emotional balancing process, educators learn how they play a key role in how children identify, interpret and work through their emotions and gradually move from co-regulation to self-regulation.
