About this event
As Educators, we practice children’s safety and supervision in our everyday routines. But, are we doing all we can with ‘what it takes to protect’? Though this is a critical part of our professional roles, there is more we can do to help a child and truly be there for families in times of great need or trauma. In this webinar, educators will gain more information around how to identify indicators and signs of potential abuse, the 4 areas of abuse and how to help prevent potential abusive situations. They will learn about listening intuitively to children, using discernment, healthy boundary setting and how to teach children to listen to their own inner voice. We will discuss getting past our own fears that may prevent us from seeing the truth in situations and how to operate from a place of awareness.
Child Development Resource Connection Peel (CDRCP) connects the community and practitioners with the information, resources, training and services that promote quality family life.
