CIC Webinar on BIM Solution Day - Fighting Covid-19 with BIM

The "BIM Solution Day" aims at promoting the latest BIM-related solutions to stakeholders. Every time, we have a different theme to introduce stakeholders about the latest solutions in a particular area.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we can see real examples of using BIM to design and collaborate remotely to build temporary hospitals and quarantine facilities to combat coronavirus. Can BIMers & designers further help to fight against the virus? As we are stressing mask wearing and social distancing, how can BIM model be used to carry out this kind of precaution? Can Covid-19 design rules be incorporated in the BIM model? Can analysis on the BIM model be performed to show the effectiveness of the design? How can building owners or facility managers make use of the BIM model to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in indoor spaces? This webinar is trying to explore the above ideas and extend the further use of BIM in the following ways.
