The Construction Industry Council (CIC) strives to promote greater uptake of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) and offsite construction-related techniques, in particular, MiC (Modular Integrated Construction) and MiMEP (MultiTrade integrated Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) in the Hong Kong construction industry.
In this webinar, DfMA experts Mr Nick MILESTONE from Sigmat UK, Ms Aurélie CLERAUX from Bouygues Bâtiment International and Mr Michael CHEUNG from Dragages Hong Kong Ltd, will share their insights and challenges faced in adopting MiC and DfMA application.

ABOUT SPEAKERS
Mr Nick MILESTONE
Nick is an Engineering Director from Sigmat, which is the leading European manufacturer of cold rolled steel components and panelised structural steel frames. He is also the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Partnerships of Softwood Lumber Board and Chairman of TRADA (Timber Research and Development Association). He has overseen the design and construction of over 550 steel and mass timber structures during his 35+ years in construction.
Ms Aurélie CLERAUX
Aurelie leads the sales and marketing strategy, financial and legal analysis, technical development and the implementation and operations for modular construction, a new industrialised construction process. Bouygues has recently completed the world's tallest modular tower in Singapore, and a pipeline of over 5000 modules to come. Currently expanding our activities throughout Asia Pacific, America, and Europe. She also leads innovation and digital initiatives within the business, having established a network of 200 innovation champions over more than 20 countries.
Mr Michael CHEUNG
Michael is a construction professional with more than 15 years of experience in design, supervision, risk management and project planning, of diverse and innovative multimillion-dollar infrastructure and building projects.
As a Senior Technical Manager of Dragages Hong Kong, he has worked on a number of heavy civil projects in Hong Kong and take in-charge on buildings tender preparation which adopted Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) and Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) technology.
