Webinar on the CIC White Paper on BIM Personnel Development, the new tier CCBC (Associate) and the new re-sitting mechanism under BIMCAS

To cope with the rapid BIM development in Hong Kong and the increasing adoption of BIM and related technologies in construction works, the Construction Industry Council ("CIC") conducted a holistic review on the supply and demand model of BIM personnel at the end of 2022. White paper on BIM personnel development have been developed to meet the needs of the construction industry.

In this webinar, the CIC representatives will briefly introduce:

• White paper on BIM personnel development
• CIC-Certified BIM Coordinator(Associate) ("CCBC(A)"), a new tier of CIC-Certified BIM personnel, on the application procedures and the path from CCBC(A) to CCBC
• New re-sitting mechanism of interview assessment of BIM personnel under the CIC BIM Certifcation and Accreditation Schemes ("BIMCAS")
