Show NOT Tell - Episode 3: Data Controls

About this event

At Cinchy, we believe in showing, not telling. Our new series "Show NOT Tell", are interactive sessions where we will walk through key capabilities for Cinchy builders and users with live demos, discussion, and Q&A.

In Episode 3 - Universal Data Controls, Cinchy Director of Training, Fatima Kaba, and Customer Solutions Architect, Ali Ahmadi, will be covering basic concepts and how to’s around Data Controls in Cinchy.

In a traditional app centric environment controls are managed by the application and applied to data siloed in the app. Cinchy is shifting the dynamic to have the controls directly on the data layer itself within the data network. This means any applications accessing the data has to respect the controls that are implemented in this centralized fabric! This results in best-in-class data governance and consistent controls throughout the organization, ensuring data is viewed and edited by only those intended, always.

Through a live demo and Q&A, this session will cover the following:

  • How to create data controls for both data sets and granular data points
  • How to enable data control access and design access
  • How data controls persist to reports, forms, applications, etc.
