This event will be a panel discussion with latina engineers who will provide their perspectives on handling the workload and how to balance their lives while teleworking during the global pandemic.

She is a versatile and experienced engineer and leader. She has worked on product and platform teams across multiple stacks, and has led cross-team company-wide projects to successful completion. Jaclyn is a Senior Engineer at GitHub and proud to be building Codespaces
She is a data engineer at Button where she works on building data infrastructures and tools that empower people to work with data at scale. She's actively involved in the JuliaLang community, and is a board member of the Association of MIT Alumnae and the MIT Club of New York.
She is currently works as a data analyst at Button leading BI infrastructure projects. In past lives, she's worked at Yik Yak on their data team, spent a summer as a research associate at a smart energy tech at a boutique consulting firm, and found every korok seed in Breathe of the Wild.
She is an iOS Engineer, a tech community leader, and a strong advocate for diversity. She is currently building great Cooking experiences for The New York Times and co-organizing the Women in iOS community. Paola regularly devotes her time to supporting and guiding new programmers of color.
