As part of our monthly iDeaS by COGES Events, we are pleased to present this 10th e-conference - in English - organised for the occasion in collaboration with our partner Pitch Technologies:
Combining high-performance simulation, new gaming technologies and Defence Innovation
During this panel discussion, we will explore how gaming technologies meet the needs of high-intensity warfare training. With our high-level panelists we will approach several questions:
What is the historical use of wargaming technology in Defence Innovation? How does it influence the doctrinal and capability developments of the Great Powers? What are the possibilities of this tool for Defence Innovation and in particular for development agencies and armament companies? How does it fit into the development and thinking process of new systems?
The new combat platforms (Land, Sea and Air) are increasingly expensive and sophisticated and therefore less accessible for the training of Forces. How can the wargaming technology respond to this issue?
The development of First-Person Shooter technologies in the frame of Game has offered new training capacities to the Army in the early 2000s. How can we imagine the inputs of new wargaming technologies today and in the future, particularly regarding the new vision about military staff training? How could wargaming technologies meet the new needs of Forces for Multi-domain training (Land, Sea, Air, Space, Cyber)?
