    Richard Weitz Director of the Center for Political-Military Analysis @ Hudson Institute

    His current research includes regional security developments relating to Europe, Eurasia, and East Asia as well as US foreign and defense policies. Before joining Hudson in 2005, Dr. Weitz worked for several other academic and professional research institutions and the US Department of Defense, where he received an Award for Excellence from the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Dr. Weitz is a graduate of Harvard University (PhD in political science), Oxford University (MPhil in politics), the London School of Economics (MSc in international relations), and Harvard College (BA with highest honors in government). Dr. Weitz has authored or edited several books, monographs, and reports, including The New China-Russia Alignment: Critical Challenges to US Security (2022); “Countering Emerging Russian and Chinese Hypersonic Threats” (2021).

    Lionel Mazenq Group Head of Programme Incubator - Future Systems Directorate @ MBDA

    Lionel MAZENQ graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d’Aérotechnique in 1997 and is civilian auditor of the 25th promotion of the French Armed Forces War School. He is currently Group Head of the Programme Incubator within MBDA Group Future Systems Directorate leading the teams in charge of major projects paving the way of the European counter hypersonic and anti-ballistic defence, of the future collaborative air combat with the MBDA contribution to the SCAF/NGWS encompassing the development of Expandable Remote Carriers and the future Strategic Deep Strike.

    Dr. Iain Boyd Director of the Center for National Security Initiatives @ University of Colorado

    Aerospace engineer: Dr. Iain BOYD, is the Director of the Center for National Security Initiatives and the H.T. Sears Memorial Professor of Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the University of Colorado. He received a Ph. D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics (1988) from the University of Southampton. He has worked on hypersoncs at NASA Ames Research Center. Cornell University, and the University of Michigan before moving to Colorado. He was the Vice Chair of the U.S. Air Force Scientific Advisory Board for which he led studies on hypersonics and directed energy. He has received the Chief of Staff of the Air Force Award for Exceptional Public Service..
