Dr. Li-Ta Hsu, born in Taiwan, is an associate professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he directs the Intelligent Positioning and Navigation Lab focused on the navigation for pedestrian and autonomous driving in urban canyons. Before he joined Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an assistant professor in 2016, he was a visiting researcher at UCL, London, in 2013 and was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tokyo between 2014-2016. He was a Technical Representative serving on ION Council in 2019-2021 and an Associate Fellow in the Royal Institute of Navigation.
