Dr. Knapton is a veteran technology leader with broad experience across all IT disciplines, including IT operations, software development, enterprise architecture, software design, program management, project management, data analytics, infrastructure, quality assurance and user interaction. He is an adjunct research advisor in IDC's IT Executive Programs (IEP) and a Cybersecurity instructor for ECPI University. Dr. Knapton holds 3 patents, 2 certifications (CISSP and C|CISO) and has published 2 books on Cybersecurity and technology leadership. Dr. Knapton earned his doctorate in IT with his dissertation on big data governance. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University, a Master of Science with a focus on Strategic IT Leadership from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems from Utah Valley University.
