Since 2019 Arjen is the CEO of Decide4AI, a consulting company with about 150 consultants fully focused on AI, Mathematical Optimization and Data Science. Other current roles of Arjen are President of the Supervisory board of Planon, a global facility management and real estate software provider and he is active as an Investor in Tech start-ups in Spain and the Netherlands. Prior to these roles Arjen was from 2000-2016 COO / Co-owner and co-founder of Quintiq Software. Quintiq is a software company dual headquartered in the Netherlands and the USA that provides advanced supply chain planning and optimization solutions. In 2014 Quintiq was acquired by Dassault Systemes, the second largest software company in Europe.

Dr. Kostja Siefen

Director Technical Account Management - Gurobi Optimization

Dr. Kostja Siefen leads the global Technical Account Management team at Gurobi Optimization. Kostja holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of Paderborn (Germany). He joined Gurobi in 2015 after many years of experience in the development and design of decision support systems using mathematical optimization. Before joining Gurobi he worked at Daimler Research & Development and as a lecturer at the University of Paderborn. Since 1998, before focusing on optimization and during his studies he continuously worked as system administrator, software developer and support engineer for an IT service company. Kostja has been active in academic teaching and customer training since 2009.

Amaury Garrec

Optimization Technical Lead - decide4AI

Amaury is a French applied mathematics engineer with more than 6 years of experience in creating optimization and planning solutions to solve complex problems. He has worked in different companies of international scope referents in the world of mathematical optimization. During his professional career, he has worked with the main mathematical solvers in the market. He is also very interested in understanding and fighting climate change and the world's sustainability issues, an area that is reflected in his work and is highly valued by clients, who are looking for efficiency with a focus on sustainability. When he is not solving optimization problems, he can be found solving boulder problems on the climbing gym.
