About this event
In many facilities, combustible dust hazards are not always obvious.
They exist across equipment, processes, and materials, but they are not always clearly identified or evaluated.
This 30-minute session is Part 2 of a four-part series designed to build from foundational knowledge into real-world application. In this session, we focus on where combustible dust risks exist and how they are identified in operating environments.
You will learn how to recognize the conditions that increase risk, where hazards are most likely to develop, and how a Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA) is used to evaluate those risks in a structured way.
Presented by DEKRA Senior Process Safety Engineer, Ankit Saini, this session builds on the fundamentals introduced in Part 1 and draws on real-world experience to show how dust hazards are identified and assessed across facilities.
By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of where to look for dust hazards and how organizations begin to evaluate risk, setting the stage for the next sessions in the series, where we will focus on controls and long-term performance.
