CT Testing Using IEEE Standard

DV Power is continuing a series of technical webinars dedicated to instrument transformers testing. The next webinar “Testing current transformers using IEEE standard” is scheduled for 25th July 2024.

Our expert panel will explain technical characteristics and limits of various metering and protection classes of current transformers described in the IEEE C57.13 standard. The correlation between ratio error and ratio correction factor (RCF) will be described in detail. The importance of secondary terminal voltage for protection type CTs is going to be covered during the presentation. We will also speak about different test methods, with special attention paid to the test method used by our recently launched product – current and voltage transformer analyzer CVA500.
