'GCF B.37 unpacked' with GCF insight #24 - Five common challenges in GCF project building

About this event

Join the discussion

What was the discussion on project-specific accreditation? How is the GCF evolving? What are the hot takes?

Find out by joining us on Thursday 16 November at 12:00pm UK time for this latest session of 'GCF unpacked', where our specialists will provide insights and analysis of the recent 37th Meeting of the Green Climate Fund Board (B.37).

GCF B.37, held in Tbilisi, Georgia, was the last board meeting of 2023. It paves the way for the beginning of GCF-2, the period of the second replenishment for the GCF. At B.37, the Board considered 15 new project proposals, approving them all - for a total of USD 736.4 million in GCF climate finance. With Head of Consulting, Beverley Salmon, and Principal consultant, Marijan Gajšak, having attended GCF B.37, you'll learn from first-hand insights and the ideas of our GCF experts.

We will also offer a concise exploration of our recent GCF insight publication. The twenty-fourth edition covers the impacts of and solutions to five common challenges experienced by GCF stakeholders, from NDAs to AEs and DAEs.

Do you represent an Accredited Entity or civil society organisation and are looking to demystify the GCF? Or are you an academic or researcher looking for more insight on how the GCF works? Whatever your background, this is the webinar for you.
