About this event
We are delighted to extend an invitation to our latest GCF unpacked webinar. In this session, we will be discussing the developments of the 39th Meeting of the Green Climate Fund board (B.39), and undertaking an analysis of our most recent report, the 26th GCF insight | Designing projects for Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
This dynamic webinar will be hosted by our Head of Consulting, Beverley Salmon who will be joined by:
Together, the team will be discussing the latest discussions had at the 39th Meeting of the Green Climate Fund board, unpacking the progress made on improving the GCF finance flows, project approvals, and key decisions made by the board.
Also in discussion will be the findings of our latest edition in our GCF insight series, this unique series is the only independent report that gathers the real voices of the global GCF community. This report brings together the insights of E Co. experts and external GCF stakeholders to illustrate how SIDS are experiencing the GCF finance modality and the challenges they are facing when accessing finance.

On B.39, you'll receive a breakdown by our dedicated GCF and climate finance experts. We present our discussions with a background of many years of experience supporting and collaborating with the Green Climate Fund, and closely follow their progress as an organisation. You'll be able to watch our consultants eloquently discuss the current movements of the GCF and why they're significant.
On the 26th GCF insight report, you will learn the current thoughts, experiences, and opinions of a unique set of stakeholders, each with their own views and challenges when collaborating with the GCF in the development of projects and programmes that benefit Small Island Developing States. Respondents from all around the world contributed to our findings, and so we’ve been able to dig down into the real experiences and top challenges of a large array of SIDS and GCF stakeholders.
We believe your participation will contribute significantly to our collective efforts in advancing climate action and ensuring the success of sustainable projects. There are several opportunities to participate as we go along to ensure we make the most of this focused time. You can make all of your comments in our chat section, directed to the presenters or fellow participants, and we'll address them as we go along.
You also have the opportunity to understand the views of fellow participants in our polls - where answers will be shared anonymously and discussed with the live audience.
