About this event
Volunteer-led, Community-driven events
There are practical skills and actions every leader and employee can transparently learn, embrace, and reflect to ensure integrity becomes a reality in their workplace culture. Psychological safety is at the top of the list as a requirement to accomplishing this goal.
Psychological safety is more than just the latest “trendy buzzword." ECI's HQP and other real-world application in numerous organizations have demonstrated via internal research that when psychological safety is a major component of their workplace culture, employee retention increases, diversity is celebrated, revenue improves, and their effectiveness was rated as doubled by company executives.
This presentation is designed to inform attendees about psychological safety, which is one of the five major components of the Stress Readiness Responsiveness & Resiliency Awareness + Actions Toolkit's “whole systems” approach to building a workplace environment that is Ready, Responsive and Resilient whenever unexpected change and crisis occurs internally or externally. The toolkit's creators are Kalwant Dhindsa and Suzanne Matthiessen.
