In the context of the largest waiting list ever seen, NHS organisations are keen to innovate and navigate how best to serve their patients to continue to deliver the best care possible.
In a collaborative project, Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust and eConsult are creating the NHS’ biggest virtual outpatients department, across 40 specialties.
eConsult’s end-to-end digital patient management system will empower the hospital to ask referred patients a specialist list of questions, triaging them at the outpatient referral stage, to reduce waiting list backlog, join up care, and improve patients’ experience.
