About this event

Your feedback is helping us prioritise what new features we develop and how we improve eConsult to better suit your needs and those of your patients.

We're working on a range of innovative product updates to improve the experience for patients, admins and clinicians. With over 1 million eConsults now submitted per month, we are focusing on smarter ways to service the growing demand, while reducing the extra work it puts on the practices and elevating clinical safety.


In this session, we'll run through:

  • Improving access for patients:
  • 16 and 17-year-old access to adult content
  • Proxy/carer access (i.e. consult on behalf of someone else)
  • Increased signposting of pharmacy and support for CPCS (Community Pharmacy Consultation Service)
  • Improved toolbar functionalities:
  • Reading patient mobile numbers from the record for video and telephone calls
  • Increasing the character limit for SMS messaging
  • Viewing eConsults in the toolbar
  • Two-way messaging with patients
  • SystmOne Interop

We’ll also be giving you an early preview of an inbox to help you visualise incoming eConsults and triage effectively and showing you how to manage your Christmas opening hours.
