Learning environments have the power to lead, support and enhance children's play. Creating spaces that invite and provoke this play is the role of the attentive and attuned educator.

Kelly Goodsir will share examples of theory and practice as she explores the concepts of designing spaces that reflect children’s learning dispositions. Creating spaces that ignite and speak to children’s curiosities, creativity and sense of adventure whilst also being challenging are essential in any early childhood service. 

Gone are the days when we have book corner, block corner, home corner as seperate functions - Kelly will explore the role of integrated approaches in designing the environment around children’s ideas.
