More services these days are embracing developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) and/or a play-based approach. But they are still using assessments that do not truly capture the learning growth of their approach nor do they communicate the value of play to parents.

Not only do they capture the learning, teachers love to write them - - they are good for the soul and reconnect them to the reasons they chose early education as a career.
