Capturing Social Development in Learning Stories - SALSA Presents #5

About this event

By Dr. Linda Kroll and Dr. Daniel Meier

Please join Linda and Daniel for the next webinar in the 2021 series on the new SALSA book, Learning Stories and Teacher Inquiry Groups.

Chapter 4

— Integrating Inquiry and Learning Stories: A Focus on Socialization, Play, and Language

Examples of different learning stories created by teachers in inquiry groups show the teachers’ processes in creating, sharing, and commenting on learning stories focused on children’s social development and play.

The discussion will highlight the different roles that colleagues play in providing feedback, suggestions, and next steps in the creation of learning stories that capture essential elements of children’s social growth and discovery-based play.
