    Amelia has been a police officer for five years with the Greenville Police Department (NC) and has been their UAS Program Manager for the past two years. Greenville PD has a part-time UAS Unit that consists of 10 pilots and 6 drones. They average about 150 flights per year responding to calls for service. Amelia believes that drones can save lives and are an integral part of any public safety agency. Additionally, she joined the company Public Safety UAS in August of 2023 to begin teaching drone courses to first responders.
